The Coracias Caudatus — the Racket-tailed Roller — is not a quiet bird. It is a declaration. When it takes flight over the golden grasslands of East Africa, it carries across its wings an entire argument about what beauty can be: deep midnight blues, architectural teals, iridescent violets, and champagne golds, all in motion, all in conversation with the sky.
We named our studio after this bird not for reasons of poetic sentiment, but for reasons of design philosophy. The Coracias Caudatus does not choose between restraint and exuberance — it embodies both simultaneously. Its colors are disciplined by the logic of its form. Its form is given life by the logic of its colors.
This is exactly what we ask of every space we design.
